By some magical miracle, the girls have both become avid readers, and so for Book Character Day, we had lots of options this year.
To my nerdy heart’s delight, Cricket chose Anne of Green Gables (a favorite of both my mom’s and mine) and E.V. chose to be one of The Boxcar Children. (Honestly, since Captain Underpants was also on the table during initial discussions, I’m doubly pleased, haha!)
