Last week, like many schools around the country, our preschool celebrated Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a week full of literary activities. Our girls dressed up as some of their favorite characters — Shel Silverstein’s The Giving Tree and Olivia the pig (a hand-me-down costume from last year’s festivities, shhhh). We even got all gussied up for Dr. Seuss’s actual birthday, party hats and all!
Happiest of birthdays to the man with the imagination and creativity we all wish we could claim, the one and only Dr. Seuss!
