Happy Valentine’s Day! We’ve had a lovey-dovey family day, which is my ideal way to celebrate February 14th.
I’m not totally into this holiday, but my girls LOVE any excuse to celebrate (i.e. eat sweets and get gifts, haha). Instead of candy, we gave the girls umbrellas for a little gift. Then each girl got to choose one fun thing to do today: Cricket wanted to buy an LOL Doll at Target, and E.V. wanted to have a game night. Done and done! The girls were in charge of dinner, so they had homemade pizza and spaghettis (while Ryan and I politely declined). After geeking out over their candy haul from school, I’m sure they’ll pass out early tonight. (Hey, a mom can dream!)
