What a Halloween — in the middle of the craziest year of our lifetime, our power was knocked out for three days because of a hurricane, causing school to be cancelled and delaying our annual Book Character Day. Sigh. (Isn’t that the most “2020” thing possible, right?!) But in the end, what matters, I suppose, is that we did end up having it, although it was certainly later than expected!
